Future-Ready Educators: Sharpening Our Skills for 2026 and Beyond!
We had the absolute privilege of hosting an incredible professional development workshop for our entire teaching and non-teaching staff, facilitated by the renowned Mr. Fred Wilobo.
The theme for the day was critical and timely: “How to improve my relevancy in 2026.”
In an era where education is evolving rapidly, simply relying on old methods isn’t enough. Mr. Wilobo challenged us to look ahead and equip ourselves with the mindset and tools needed to thrive in this new landscape.
Key Insights from the Day:
The Power of “We” over “Me” (Team Building & Teamwork): Mr. Wilobo emphasized that the complex challenges of modern education cannot be solved in silos. We explored dynamic strategies for strengthening our inter-departmental collaboration. A cohesive staff room translates directly into a more supportive and connected learning environment for our students.
The Proactive Educator: We moved beyond reactive teaching. Being relevant in 2026 means anticipating change, taking initiative in adopting new technologies, and actively seeking solutions before problems arise. It’s about owning our professional growth curve.
A huge thank you to Mr. Fred Wilobo for his energy, expertise, and actionable insights. Our teachers are leaving today inspired, connected, and ready to bring this renewed energy back to their students this year.
We are committed to ensuring our educators are the best they can be, so our students can become the best they can be.
