How we teach

Our Teaching Approach

Blended Learning & ICT

Traditional teaching integrated with technology to enrich learning for students and teachers, developing 21st-century skills.

Life Education

Weekly lessons in personal, social, health and leadership education that empower students to succeed and cope with life's challenges.

School Family Initiative

Every student has a Teacher Parent — a personal tutor and mentor who guides them academically and supports their wellbeing.

Career Education

Career guidance at class, house and tutor levels, taught as part of Life Education. Students discover why they study.

Reading Culture

Developing a Reading Culture

School library

Mount of Olives is first and foremost a reading school. Our library sits at the heart of the school and everything it achieves.

Students develop their reading through literature classes, leisure reading of novels, magazines and newspapers, and through research using textbooks and e-learning materials.

Library Resources

A continually updated resource center: magazines, journals, encyclopedias, reference books, textbooks, audiovisuals, digital references and research journals. Seating for up to 50 students.
